Planning Your Zion Elopement
Coming together on the red textured cliffs, the landscape promises to make your elopement a day to remember. Proclaiming your love and promise to cherish one another forever will take your breath away when set against the jaw dropping background. Eloping in Zion National Park is truly a unique experience and will ensure your wedding photos will be ones to impress and amaze.
Here is our step by step guide to help you plan your stunning Zion National Park elopement!
1. Find a Planner

Some brides may opt to skip this step and just do a simple ceremony, but if you want a little gathering after, a planner is essential to making this process go as smoothly as possible. A planner will make sure all the details, props, tables, chairs, etc are transported, placed and perfected. Leaving you and your guests with nothing to worry about. If you want to just get married on the cliffs of Zion, do a sunset portrait session, and slip away on your own, a good photographer can help make sure all the details are in place. Connected planners can also get you a discount on the other preferred vendors in the area. To find out which planner we provide discounts with, just shoot us a message!
2. Hire a Photographer (and Videographer)

First and foremost, you want a photographer familiar with the Zion area to help meet your dream checklist of requirements. Your photographer should know where the best views with the fewest crowds can be found. Our dates book up quickly, so as soon as you know your wedding date, give us a call. We will guide you through the rest of the process and make it simple and breezy as an elopement should be!
3. Apply for Your Permit

A wedding in Zion requires a $100 permit. Considering the awe inspiring location, you would be hard pressed to find a less expensive venue, especially one as beautiful. You can apply easily online here. Please allow 21 days for approval.
4. Book Your Officiant, Florist and Hair and Makeup Artist

We can help connect you with officiants, beauty artists, and florists who specialize in Zion weddings. They are familiar with the entire process and will make everything easy.
And that’s it! From there, you just need your dress and suit and an adventurous attitude! Once your team is in place, you will be able to pin down your specific location for your ceremony and photographs.
We have a special elopement package that includes a first look and portraits in a first location, ceremony in a second, and sunset portraits at a third. We love the first look to begin 2 hours prior to sunset to take full advantage of the best light possible. For more information, please visit our contact page and tell us more about your big day!
